Acceptance of Terms ​

By accessing or using WakeIQX ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service ​

WakeIQX is an open-source MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that provides temporal intelligence for AI agents through a 3-layer architecture:

  • Layer 1: Causality Engine (Past - WHY)
  • Layer 2: Memory Manager (Present - HOW)
  • Layer 3: Propagation Engine (Future - WHAT)

The Service enables:

  • Context preservation and retrieval
  • AI-enhanced summarization and tagging
  • Causal chain tracking
  • Memory tier management
  • Predictive context scoring

License ​

WakeIQX is licensed under the MIT License.

What You Can Do ​

User Responsibilities ​

Acceptable Use ​

You agree to:

  • ✅ Use the Service lawfully and ethically
  • ✅ Respect intellectual property rights
  • ✅ Not attempt to compromise security
  • ✅ Not overload or abuse the Service
  • ✅ Comply with all applicable laws

Prohibited Activities ​

You agree NOT to:

  • ❌ Attack or attempt to breach security
  • ❌ Reverse engineer (except as permitted by law)
  • ❌ Remove copyright or attribution notices
  • ❌ Use to train competing AI models without permission

Data Ownership ​

Your Content ​

  • You own your data: All contexts you save belong to you
  • You control access: Determine who can access your instance
  • You can export: All data is yours to export and delete
  • You grant us nothing: We claim no ownership of your content

Service-Generated Data ​

AI-generated summaries and tags are derived from your content and belong to you.

AI Processing ​

Cloudflare Workers AI ​

We use Cloudflare Workers AI for:

  • Context summarization (2-3 sentences)
  • Tag extraction (3-5 keywords)

Important:

  • Your data is NOT used to train AI models
  • Processing happens per-request only
  • No persistent AI model fine-tuning
  • Subject to Cloudflare's AI terms

Service Availability ​

No Guarantees ​

WakeIQX is provided "AS-IS" with:

  • ❌ No uptime guarantees
  • ❌ No performance SLAs
  • ❌ No warranty of any kind

For production use, we recommend:

  • Self-hosting your own instance
  • Implementing your own backups
  • Adding authentication/authorization
  • Monitoring and alerting

Modifications to Service ​

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Update the codebase
  • Change dependencies or infrastructure
  • Release new versions

Notification: Changes announced via GitHub releases and documentation updates.

Termination ​

By You ​

You may stop using the Service at any time:

  • Delete your data via pruning tools
  • Shut down your self-hosted instance
  • No notice required

By Us ​

If using our hosted infrastructure (if available), we may terminate access for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Abuse or security threats
  • Illegal activity
  • Resource overuse

Notice: Reasonable notice will be provided when possible.

Limitation of Liability ​

No Liability for Damages ​

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WakeIQX AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Loss of data
  • Loss of profits
  • Service interruptions
  • Security breaches
  • AI-generated content accuracy
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Use at Your Own Risk ​

You use WakeIQX at your own risk. We provide no guarantees about:

  • Data integrity
  • Accuracy of AI summaries
  • Prediction accuracy
  • Service availability

Indemnification ​

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WakeIQX and its contributors from claims arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of third-party rights
  • Content you store in the Service

Disclaimer of Warranties ​

WakeIQX IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING:

  • ❌ Fitness for a particular purpose
  • ❌ Non-infringement
  • ❌ Accuracy or reliability
